The Congenital Heart Surgeons' Society (CHSS) Center for Research and Quality is dedicated to research, in an effort to find improved treatment for children with congenital heart disease. The Congenital Heart Surgeons' Society (CHSS) is a premier organization of heart surgeons who treat these heart conditions. Each year, thousands of operations are performed on children born with congenital heart defects. The CHSS Data Center strives to improve care for these patients with through collaborative research on behalf of the Congenital Heart Surgeons Society and our patients.

The CHSS Work Weekend is a unique in-depth collaborative and learning opportunity for participants to discuss current research and quality projects on certain CHSS cohorts slated for presentation and/or publication, and to provide feedback for these projects. The work weekend is also an interactive forum for participants to present potential research and quality proposals that span the breadth of congenital heart disease.
